TUITION: TO BE PAID MONTHLY & IN ADVANCE

- Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Tuition is due on or before the first lesson of the month.
- Tuition may be mailed, hand-delivered, or dropped in the postal slot at the studio.
- There will be a $30 fee for returned (NSF) checks.
- There will be a $30 late fee per month for accounts whose tuition is not paid by the 10th of the month.
- Should a student stop attending classes, tuition will be charged until the studio has been notified, in
written form, of the students’ withdrawal. - Should tuition become TWO months’ delinquent, the student will be asked to only observe their
classes until the account is current.
The studio is asking that all families set up their payments on a monthly draft with their banks, through automatic bill pay. This will alleviate incurring unnecessary late fees.
We are no longer able to accept credit cards or post dated checks.**
E-MAIL ADDRESS ~~ To be more eco-friendly, we are now doing most of our communication
electronically. If we do not have your email address on file, be sure to update with us so you
don’t miss out on reminders and other communications.
ENROLLMENT FEES: There will be a $20.00 fee for each student within the family. Please
complete, sign, and date the enclosed registration form. Return completed form along with
appropriate enrollment fees to DanceCamp Studio. This is to be done on shoe/enrollment day.
Students will NOT be allowed to participate in class until the SIGNED enrollment form is
returned to the office. BOTH Parents (if applicable) need to sign form!!
LATE FEE POLICY: The policy concerning late fees is as follows… any tuition payment not
received by the 10th of the month, regardless of which day of the week the 10th may fall, will
incur a $30.00 late fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
ATTENDANCE: Regular attendance is the best way to be successful in classes. Each week
our classes build upon the fundamentals and foundations from the previous week, while adding
to the dancer’s overall knowledge base. Once choreography for Showtime has begun, missed
classes not only cause your student to be behind, but it also negatively affects the cohesiveness
and success of the entire class.
When USD 465 cancels school or after school activities due to inclement_weather, the
studio will also cancel classes for that evening. Please check the studio Facebook page to
be sure.
VISITOR DAYS: Parents are invited to visit two (2) times for the nine months of dance. The
first full weeks in NOVEMBER and MARCH.
MAKE-UP CLASSES: Please notify the office if you cannot attend class. No credit is given
if a child misses class; We do not make up classes when missed for birthday parties, haircuts,
soccer games, etc…
HOLIDAYS: We observe the USD 465 Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break holidays. If
any others are to be observed, we will notify you. Tuition is for 4 lessons in a month. (When
we have a 5th lesson in a month, it takes care of our classes missed for holidays.)
DRESS CODE: Dance students are required to be dressed in the proper dance attire for each
class–Black leotard, pink tights, and proper shoes. Students may be asked to not participate in
class if not dressed accordingly.
BALLET: Pink ballet shoes. Black for boys.
TAP: Tan tap shoes. Black for boys. All levels of tap will be wearing tan, pull-on tap shoes.
JAZZ: Tan, pull-on jazz shoes. Black for boys.
DANCE TEAMS: Black dance sneakers (or colored at teacher’s discretion)
HIP-HOP: Black dance pants or cargo pants, T-shirt, and dance sneakers ordered from studio
TUMBLING: Girls: leotard (convertible tights if tights are wanted), booty shorts
Boys: shorts for boys. T-shirts are fine for both
DO NOT WEAR DANCE SHOES OUTSIDE!
SNACKS: If your dancer will need a snack or a drink while at the studio, please send those
with them. Drinks need to be in a container with a closable lid.
HAIR: Hair must be pulled away from the face, and in a ponytail (LOW ponytail for
tumblers).. Bangs, (if longer than eyebrows), need to be pulled back with clippies or bobby
pins, so they are not a distraction during class!!
Dance is a Fine Art, and with that there may be requirements as to how a student is to
“look” when representing the studio, just as there would be if one was in a play. Tattoos
are to be covered when representing the studio. Excess jewelry due to piercings may
require being removed or covered while performing. Non-Traditional hair colors are not
permitted for performances when representing the studio, including, but not limited to,
community performances, picture week and recital. They are fine for regular class time.
We respect your individuality but performing as a group needs to have a cohesive look and
style to it. Thank you in advance for agreeing to this policy.
NO LOOSE JEWELRY AND NO GUM!
PUBLICITY & ADVERTISING: The studio advertises at the local movie theater, the
newspaper, and on our website. If you would prefer NOT to have your child’s picture used in
this way, please inform the studio in writing.
ENROLLMENT & SHOE DAY: Final enrollment will be on Sunday, August 18, 2023 from
2:00 – 5:00. Bring your completed, signed (BOTH parents) registration forms and the
appropriate enrollment fees on that day to complete enrollment. Dancewear supplies will be at
the studio for your convenience. Any dancewear and/or shoes your child may need for the
upcoming dance year may be tried on and ordered at this time. There will be NO shipping fees
for orders placed on Shoe/Enrollment day.
Dance Team dancers will order/rent their uniforms and order team jackets on this day.
SHOWTIME: Our show will be presented on SUNDAY May 25th 2025. Rehearsal and Dress
Rehearsal will take place on Saturday May 24th. NOTE: Please mark these dates on your family
calendars.
SHOW FEE & COSTUME FEES: A fee is required to pay for the auditorium, programs,
technicians, etc… This allows friends and family to attend free of charge. Show fee is due by
October 11th, 2024. Show fee will be $50.00 for one student dancing, and $60.00 for 2 or
more students dancing. This will allow us to continue our “no admission” tradition for our
recital.
ESTIMATED Costume fees will be due in full by November 15th … OR you may make
estimated deposits for costumes in three installments; September13th, , October 11th, and
remaining estimated costume balance on November 15th.
***ESTIMATED COSTUME FEE EXAMPLES would be: preschool through 3rd grade – about $70.00
or less per costume, 4th – 6th grade – about $80.00 or less per costume, and 7th grade – SR – about $90.00
or less per costume. Some costumes could cost more, but we try very hard to keep your costume fees
down. Costume companies have raised their prices considerably over the past three years.
Costumes not paid in full will be assessed a $5 per ITEM late fee each month
they are delinquent.
There will also be a charge of approximately $7.50-10.00 per student in tap/jazz/ballroom/contemporary
for the tights to wear with those costumes. *** (one pair per student)
For safety reasons, please deliver your child to, and pick them up from, the studio office
upstairs, and let us know if someone other than a parent or guardian is to pick them up.

Enrolling your child at DanceCamp Studio verifies that you are in agreement with the policies
set forth by DanceCamp Studio and will adhere to them.
